When not playing baseball, Dustin enjoys sports, friends and family. He likes country, rap and rock music. His favorite TV show is ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” and his favorite movie is “Top Gun.” Dustin is from Gilmer, Texas. He graduated from Gilmer High School. His parents are Bill and Pam. Dustin plays baseball because: “It is my passion.” His goal for the season is “to establish my spot on the team and become an impact player.” 
His favorite baseball memories are of Little League. The best baseball advice he’s been given is “This game is very simple, don’t make it more complicated than it is.” His baseball heroes are Derek Jeter and Michael Young.
