Senior Eric Wait #33

yellow background image for layoutEric plays baseball because “the Lord blessed me with talent and the will to win. I feel like I would be doing a dishonor by not using what He has blessed me with.” His goal is to bat .300-plus with multiple homeruns.

His favorite memory is of “seeing the faces of the opposing players at Paul Quinn when everyone on the team got off the bus wearing mustaches.” The best baseball advice he’s been given is to “Play within yourself. This is a team sport and everyone has different strengths. No one person can do everything, but together we can achieve anything.” His baseball hero is catcher Jason Varitek, and his favorite team is the Boston Red Sox.

Eric’s hobbies are sports, school and work. His favorite music is rock, Skillet, TFK etc. His favorite TV show is ESPN’s SportCenter.

Eric is from White Oak, Texas. He graduated from White Oak High School. His parents are Tom and Deborah. He has three siblings: Erin, 23, Trevor, 18, and Tara, 16.

You can email Eric at Ericwait@yahoo.com.
