Greetings Jacket Baseball Fans!!!

Summer is winding down and The LeTourneau Jackets players — our returning ones and our new recruits — are on campus and on the baseball field. Players already are holding informal workouts among themselves.

Parents, we will get to see our sons in action this fall with a small sample of Jackets baseball to tide us over until the season kicks off in February. Make a note of these dates and times for your calendars.

Noon, Saturday, Oct. 2: The Jackets will scrimmage at home against Brookhaven Community College.

Friday, Oct. 8, and Saturday, Oct. 9: The team will play its traditional inter-squad "Fall World Series." Friday game time will be firmed up, but expect it to start at 2 or 3 p.m. Saturday features a double-header with games expected to start at noon.

Saturday, Oct. 9: As is tradition, LeTourneau Jackets players and coaches will hold a welcome cookout at the end of the Saturday doubleheader. All parents, grandparents, siblings and other Jackets Baseball fans are welcome to join the team on the field. It's a great way to get to know our new players, get reacquainted with our returning players and meet the coaching staff. Please plan to attend.

Who We Are
The Jackets Baseball Parent Support Organization was founded in the fall of 2008 as a volunteer group of parents, family and friends of the LeTourneau University Jackets Baseball program. We are committed to the success and well-being of our Players, Coaches and Trainers.

Our Vision
The Parent Support Organization will lead the way in creating a fan support system that will elevate the Jacket Baseball Program within the Athletic Department, on campus, in the community and in the American Southwest Conference.

Our Goals
To elevate the Jackets Baseball Program at LeTourneau University by:

• Helping our players and coaches reach their team goals
• Increasing fan support for LeTourneau Jackets Baseball
• Supporting and encouraging the coaches and their families
  

How We Do It
We will bring together and organize a network of parents, family and friends of the Jackets Baseball Program to:

• Increase awareness about the program's needs
• Strengthen interaction with Athletic Department leadership
• Organize individual and group project activity
• Raise financial support, as needed
• Boost awareness of the Jackets Baseball Program by increasing parent and fan involvement
