Jeremy Burke plays baseball because “It is the game that I know and love.” His goal for the season is to have a winning pitching record. Jeremy was out last season with a knee injury.
His favorite baseball memory is of “seeing my high school team winning the state championship.” The best baseball advice he’s ever been given is “Good things come to those who work hard,” from Coach Pope. His baseball hero is Nolan Ryan and his favorite team is Houston Astros.
His hobbies include Ping Pong, Monopoly, Halo 3 and collecting baseball cards. He likes listening to jazz music and Boston. His favorite TV show is “Leverage” and his favorite movie is “Pink Panther Strikes Again.”
Jeremy is from Cypress, Texas, and graduated from Cypress Fairbanks High School. His parents are Steven and Nancy. He has two siblings, Justin, 29, and Christen, 25.
