Freshman Sean Wilson #44

yellow background image for layoutSean plays baseball because “I have had a passion for the sport since I was little and have been blessed to play in college.” His goal is to help the team win ball games.

His favorite baseball memory is of hitting a “homerun against rivals to keep team from being shutout.” The best advice he’s been given is to “Play every play like it was the deciding play." His favorite baseball player is Rusty Greer, and his favorite team is the Texas Rangers.

Sean enjoys hunting, fishing and playing/watching football. His favorite music is country. When not on the field, Sean enjoys watching NCIS and ESPN’s Baseball Tonight. His favorite movie is “Hatari.”

Sean is from Groveton, Texas. He graduated from Groveton High School. His parents are Ronny and Karla. He has four siblings: Jacquelyn, 16, Claire, 13, Abigail, 11, Peyton, 9.
