Tyler plays baseball because it is a “game of statistics and I push to improve statistics. It gives me such a thrill. Playing baseball is also another way I can glorify God.” His goal is to perform “to the best of my ability and glorify God through all my actions.”
His favorite memory is earning “pitcher of the week against University of Dallas my sophomore season by throwing a complete game and only giving up one run.” The best baseball advice he’s been given is “Play wholeheartedly. Do not give partial effort.” His baseball hero is Nolan Ryan and his favorite team is the Houston Astros.
When not playing baseball, Tyler enjoys table tennis, engineering and Christian camping. His favorite music is Christian rock and techno. His favorite TV show is “Futurama” and favorite movie is “Ironman.”
Tyler is from Cypress, Texas, and a graduate of Rosehill Christian High School. His parents are Dennis and Karen. He has a brother, Jordon, 22.
